how do i connect the air vane antichoke system  to the thermostat?
It came apart when I took the muffler off. I can not figure out how to put it back together.

Have you looked at the parts list diagram:

The spring should be connected so it closes the choke.  When the engine starts, the air generated by the flywheel fins push the air vane over coming the spring tension.
