Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Scotts Lawn Mower, milaca lawn and garden, scotts lawn

Question
QUESTION: I think I need to clean my carburetor, but I'm a little hesitant about taking it apart. Are there any diagrams or pictures online that show how to do it? Or can you post some?

ANSWER: First we need to know the engine's make and model numbers,
and when you find that, google Milaca Lawn and Garden, and go to
their website, and use their free parts lookup, you can view the
exploded diagrams of your engine and carb there.
Let me know what engine you have, and I can be more helpful
with more detailed info.

Here is a pic from my manual, hope you can read it.

In general, you can usually just remove the nut on the bottom of the carb, and clean it real good, all of the little holes in the side and center of it, and reinstall, and with luck, get it going.
Of course gas will dribble out while it is out, so be careful.
If that doesn't work, you will have to remove the carb and do a better cleaning.

Let me know how it goes.
