Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): lawnchief 19hp, fan shroud, rear fenders

SIR, I STARTED TO MOW MY LAWN TODAY ,MADE TWO PASSES AND THE TRACTOR SLOWLY STOPPED MOVING.MOVED THE STICK INTO REVERSE IT BACKED UP BUT THAT ALSO SEEMED TO STOP.I PURCHASED THIS MACHINE USED AND DON'T HAVE ANY SERVICE OR TROUBLESHOOTING INFORMATION ON IT.ANY INFO YOU CAN LEND?

What model do you have?  On the rear of the mower, under the seat or rear fenders, you should find a sticker about the size of a business card.  The mower model number is on this sticker.

The enigne has is own model, type and code number.  You will find the engine numbers either stamped in the metal fan shroud or valve cover.  I need the engine numbers as well so I can look up your engine.

Let me know the mower and engine numbers so I can look up your mower.
