Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): L120...hesitating...., blowup, sealant

I have a JD L120.  Works great until it gets too warm...bottom of trans axle is wet with oil...Cracked??  new gasket??  Can you add oil???  If so how??

  It is probably cracked, and you should be able to add some oil.
Go to jdpc.online and look at the blowup of the trans, it shows a plug on top.  The trans halves have a sealant between them,
