Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Echo srm2100 trimmer, throttle linkage, air intakes

Question
This trimmer started and worked fine till it warmed up.
Then it started loosing power if you started to accelerate
and bogged down.  I replaced the fuel filter, spark plug
and air filter.  That did not make any difference.
Operators manual instructed me to check if the air intakes
are blocked.  So I took the engine cover off and the
throttle linkage to clean any dirt and grass build up.  Put
it all back.  Now it starts and runs at high speed only
regardless of throttle position and starts to bog down when
it warms up (about 10 minutes).  I thought the throttle
linkage assembles in one position only.  Obviously, I did
something wrong.  Please help.  Thanks in advance.

Answer
How old is the trimmer?  The cable has come out of the trigger or the carburetor mounting location point.  Check the carb/throttle cable connection and make sure the cable is installed correctly.  Also check the throttle trigger...sometimes the cable will come loose at that location.

Let me know what you find.  If you want you can attach a picture of the carb/cable and trigger mounts and I can take a look.
