Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Kohler 15.5 Engine, fuel pump, engine model

Model # CV15S,Ser.# 2823703851.  My motor will run fine until its gets warm, 10-15 minutes, then it missses, loses and gains power and will quit.  I removed Fuel Pump, found dirt, etc. and cleaned it.  After replacing Fuel Pump, ran fine for about 10 minutes and same thing occurred.  If it dies and I spray starting fluind into carb, it will run short term .  Sugesstions?

With dirt in the fuel pump I'm sure some of it got into the carb.  Most surgining problems are caused by dirty carbs.

Remove, dis-assemble and clean the carb with compressed air from an air compressor.  Spraying carburetor cleaner through the passages will help disolve dirt.

Take lots of digital pictures before and during removal/dis-assembly so you know how to put the carb back together.
