Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Honda HR194, honda hr194, rich mixture

Question
I have recently dug my mower (Honda HR194) from the garage and need some help. The engine starts with choke, it runs for say 2-3 seconds and then cuts out. Ive tried to move the throttle by hand to keep it running but no such luck. Do you know where the Mixture screw is for the petrol? I believe it could be flooding, although I have taken the fuel bowl off and can stop the fuel coming through with the float.

Any idea's as to why my engine keeps cutting out? Also if i leave it for a few minutes it will start again and stop!

Please Help
Ben

Answer
Hello Ben, when making adjustments the engine has to be running. It's the way the game is played. You should have a high, low, idle 3 screws to play with look for the three screws, the idle should be around where the choke is.The screws generally turn clockwise or counter clockwise; counterclockwise is lean, and clockwise is rich mixture.
