Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Craftwman Lawnmower fuel valve repair, lever switch, fuel valve

Question
Hi,

I accidentally knocked the little plastic fuel valve on/off lever switch from the Craftsman 5.5 HP Mod #917388880 Lawnmower I have.  I found the little blue rubberband and the little black seal, but not sure if the black one goes on the tip of the unit or not. I don't think I put it back on it the correct position, because it is still leaking.
I can't find a repair manual that shows exactly how the two little seals are supposed to be attached to the little lever before it is inserted, and the position it needs to be in when inserting.  If I could just see pic of where the seals go and how to put it back together, I'm sure I can get it to stop leaking.   Is there something inside that the tip is supposed to attach to, etc?  Thank you for any advise you can give.
