Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): 5 HP Honda motor with plugged jet to carb., engine model type, hp honda

Our lawn mower will only run if primed - but dies soon after. Hubby thinks it is a plugged jet -he has taken it apart, soaked the carburetor. How would he unplug the jet. The other idea is that he might have put it back together wrong. Do you know where we could get a schematic? What are your thoughts on this?

Usually cleaning the carburetor with compressed air from an air compressor will clear the plugged jet.  I also spray carburetor cleaner through every carb orfice to make sure the passages are open.

Do you have the engine model, type and serial number?  I would need this information to look up the carburetor schematic.
