Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): trying to make my 12 horse briggs produce more power, briggs and stratton, riding lawnmower

I have a 12 horse power briggs and stratton engine and was wondering about putting a turbo charger on it or how to make it produce more horsepower, it is curently bone stock with an iron bore. It is mounted on a toro 880 riding lawnmower that is being modified for mud bogging. Also would I want a smaller pulley to make it go faster or a larger one?

Hello Michael,what a turbocharger does is it utilizes exhaust pressure to increase the air pressure going into the cylinders. And for your pulleys by using different arrangements of pullys, the lifting or pulling power can be increased several hundred times.
