Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): hydrostatic trans, tuff torq, new holland

Question
I had asked about the trans on my New Holland LS 55. I have found that the tractor is actually made by Toro and is the same as a Toro 260h. When the tractor gets hot the trans slows down and wont go up hills. I have checked and cleaned the fan and drive belt. Both are ok. The fluid level is full and clean. Any ideas?

Answer
According to Toro, it has a tuff torq k61 transmission, and
if the belt is not slipping, and the fluid level is fine, there is
no filter to replace, then going into the trans is what is left,
which most shops just replace, rather than try to rebuild.
Make sure the bypass is fully disengaged.  Sorry to not be more
encouraging, but I would make sure it is not the belt slipping as
things heat up.  Changing the fluid may help as well.
