Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): 15 hp Kawasaki / white smoke, white smoke lawnmower

I have a 15 hp Kawasaki on a walk behind 36" mower.  Ran fine last year.  Stored all winter with no gas in the tank. Brought it out this year,Filled with gas, started and now it will run for 30 seconds with a lot of white smoke. Remove air filter and can watch the carb flood out from what looks like oil coming in from a side breather tube.

You need to replace the crankcase breather for starters.  Follow that tube back and you will see the breather assembly.  Also, check the oil for gas in it and keep a close eye out for that.  If you see any gas in the oil, don't run the engine.  That will indicate the carburetor needs to be rebuilt.  Thanks, PK.
