Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Incredipull Craftsman string trimmer clutch, starter rope, exhaust port

Question
I inquired earlier about removing the clutch and you said to use a bolt the size of the spark plug to keep the piston from
moving.  I removed the spark plug but noticed that turning the shaft in either direction doesn't even move the piston, even though it moves if I push on it directly. The model number is 316.791890.  Any suggestions? Thanks.

Answer
Hello Again Stan:

>>If Turning the Shaft or Pulling the Starter Rope is Not Moving the Piston, then the Connecting Rod is Broken and the Engine is Not going to Run if this is the Case.
>>Remove the Muffler and Look into the Exhaust Port.
>>Turn the Engine and Watch the Piston. It should Move. If it Does Not, then the Connecting Rod is Differently Broken and will Require being Replaced before the Engine will Run.
>>If you Hit a Snag or this Does Not Correct the Problem,  I am Here if You Require More Assistance. Hope this Helps. Let me Know What Happens, Please. May the All Mighty Bless You and Yours. Be Safe and Happy. Thanks.

Good Luck
