Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Cratfsman tiller wont start, high tension, dreis

Question
I have never had any problem getting my tiller to start before.  Now it won't even spark or anything.  I have tried all of the directions in the manual to get it going, but nothing is working.  What am I doing wrong?

Answer
Hello Richard, a few suggestions. Firstly, make sure everything is tight. Secondly, if you know you are not getting a spark. It should be your ignition system; (ignition module). Try this test. Remove the high tension lead from the spark plug terminal. Hold the end of the high tension lead about 1/4- inch from the cylinder head and crank the engine. A spark should jump from the high tension lead to the cylinder head if it is producing any voltage. If the spark is a blue-orange color the ignition system is good.
