Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): briggs and stratton w/ no spark, briggs and stratton, generator applications

How do I see what is why I have no spark to my engine? The model # is 170432, code 77062111, type 1363-01.  Any help would be appreciated.

There are many reasons that you may not have spark,, Please tell me what kind of application this is on and if it has a low oil shut down switch on it.  IF it does make sure there is plenty of oil in the engine, fill it to full capacity then check for spark.  This is VERY common problem on generator applications (which is what this engine is used on a lot)

Get back to me with the application type, ie generator, snow blower, tiller etc...
