Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): scag, Scag engine

Ok, 2002 Scag Model STT31BSD (this one has a diesel engine)
It is broken becuase the engine froze. Do you know what i should do? Can i buy a whole new engine, and if yes then from who?

There's no way for me to give you a good answer on this because you're talking about a fairly expensive mower and a pretty expensive engine.

If the engine is not salvageable, then I would look at new mowers myself if this one has been used commercially.  

I would spend fifty or sixty dollars at a good shop and have them do a complete evaluation of the mower.  A new engine is probably going to run $3,000 plus.  If yours is salvageable, you can probably rebuild it for half that if the crank is good.
