Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): John Deere LX-176 Kawasaki 14hp, john deere lx, starter solenoid

Question
Grandchild kept starter engaged while the engine was running. I replaced the bad starter and the ignition switch module but still have no spark @ spark plug. When checking for spark, engine will turnover even after hot wire to solenoid is pulled & key turned off! FC420V-ES10.

>>If the Battery Voltage is Low and you Engage the Starter, the Starter will Not Disengage and Continue to Turn the Engine or Try to Turn the Engine Until the Battery Voltage is Depleted and Usually the Starter Solenoid is Damaged.
>>To Stop the Starter a Battery Cable has to be Removed from the Battery.
>>Have the Battery Load Tested and Replace if Required.
