Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): OPE 49cc ice auger, air vent, carbon deposits

Question
One month ago I replaced the fuel line and fuel filter one the auger. It ran great the first and only time I hve been out fishing. That was two weeks ago and now I went to start it today and it wont. Fuel is not moving threw the line and not getting to the carb. I shot a little fuel under the air filter and I can get it to pop, but it is short lived. Why isnt fuel moving threw the line? air vent is open.

Answer
Hello Dan:

>>If this is a 2 Cycle Engine, then the Exhaust Port or Muffler May be Restricted with Carbon Deposits, the Carburetor Metering Jet is Stuck Closed and Not Allowing the Fuel to be Pulled to the Carburetor or the New Fuel Lines May Not be Sealing Properly and Allowing Air to be Pulled Into the Fuel Line (this May or May Not be Evident).
>>Soaking and Cleaning the Carburetor should Correct this Problem.
>>Send me the Model Numbers Off the Unit, Please. With these I can Locate the Proper Manual and Better Assist you.
>>Please, Do Not Hesitate, If you Hit a Snag, if I Missed Something or this Does Not Correct the Problem, I am Here if You Require More Assistance. Hope this Helps. Let me Know What Happens, Please. May the All Mighty Bless You and Yours. Thanks.
