Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Mccullough chainsaw, eager beaver chainsaw, mccullough chainsaw

Question
i have a mccullough eager beaver chainsaw and the chain came off the blade  and do not know how to put back on .Believe it or not i am mechanically inclined but i do not know how to put on- adjust . the saw does not have a manual

Answer
Loosen the nut on the bar plate holding the the bar on the saw.

Locate the chain adjustment screw on the front of the saw.  It is a small flat head screw.  Loosen the adjustment screw to slide the bar back and install the chain on the bar.  Once the chain is on the bar, tighten the adjustment screw.  Rotate the chain a few times to make sure it is fully installed.  Tighten the bar nut.

See this link as a reference...very similar to tightening the chain on your saw.
