Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): electric start for huayi motor, honda parts, central machinery

Question
QUESTION: hey John,

i recently purchased a small 6.5 hp motor from harbor freight (#96500) from their central machinery line. I am looking to find an electric start system that will work for this motor, and as central machinery is just a reseller of other brands, there wasnt much help on the HF website.
the markings on it show it is made by huayi from japan and the numbers i could find on it were
168F-2*80076467* (the * are stars in it) and
jt-07-06-49

the second number is located on the engine block by the air filter and the 1st number is located on the opposite side of the engine on the engine block as well.

so once again my question is is there a way to attach a generic electric start to this motor or is there a place where i can find an electric start for it?
Thank you very much for your time,
John

ANSWER: Hello John:

>>You can Use the Flywheel and Starter that Fits Any Honda 6.5 Model Engine.
>>The Parts are the Same for the Huayi 6.5 Model Engines as the Honda 6.5 Model Engines Except for the Carburetor.
>>I have Checked and Rechecked this Information Several Times and it has Proven True as we have Several of these Engines in the SHop and Used Honda Parts for the Repairs.
>>I have Spoken with Harbour Freight Several Times and they Also Suggested Using Honda Parts for making the Repairs to these Engines. >>***As I Stated Earlier. This is True for All External Parts Except the Carburetor.***

QUESTION: John thank you for the quick reply,

I have checked around and i asked a buddy in autoparts and even he can't locate them, but the general consensus is that Honda never made a electric start for the gx200 (which is the only motor made by honda that is 6.5 hp) and no one can seem to find a flywheel or electric start for this motor. can you point me in the right direction for finding a flywheel and electric start? I have browsed the internet like crazy and have made several phone calls but I am currently at a loss to this situation. Is there a generic starter perhaps that can be used? or is there something very specific about the starter that i need to pay attention to? is there any chance i could use a starter for a differently rated honda motor? thank you very much for your continued support!
John

Answer
Hello Again John:

>>I Apologize for the Mistake.
>>I've been Busy and as I like to Say,"I've had too Many Irons in the Fire" for the Past Few Days. You would Think a Disabled Person Like Myself couldn't be that Busy, but for some Reason I have had More Research to do than I thought I would Ever have. It Seems I need to be Two People right now. LOL.
>>I'm Not making Excuses, Just Explaining.
>>The Honda Engine I was Referring to was the Honda GX200QXE Engine. It has the Electric Start.
>>You can View a Picture and Information on this Engine at this Site Addy; http://www.buywright.co.nz/horizontalengines6to12.html .
>>You can View a Breakdown/IPL of the Mower/Engine at this Site Addy, http://hayward.arinet.com/scripts/EmpartISAPI.dll?MF&app=ASP&lang=EN&TF=Mainfram and Select the Catalog American Honda. Select the Engine File and then Scroll to the Engine Model GX200QXE.
>>I Do Not Remember if we had to Purchase the Cooling Fan that Bolts to the Honda Flywheel or Not. I will Research (look in the Past Records) and See if I can Locate the Information.
