Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): McCulloch eager beaver 3.4cc chainsaw, mcculloch eager beaver, automatic oiler

Question
VERY dependable (purchased in early 90's saw for me). Have manual but the automatic oiler (AND the manual oiler) seem to have quit working. Maybe it's gotten something in the orifice (my theory). Manual doesn't show WHERE the oil is introduced to the chain and sprocket. It's SAYS it shows it on Fig 49 in the manual .. but there's no arrow etc to indicate WHERE around the sproket/chain the oil actually leaves the oil tank. I'm trying to "clean it out" using Kerosene etc but can't get anything to "squirt" out. Thanks for the service, just found you guys.

Answer
Hello Neil:

>>Clean the Area Above the Bar Attaching Bolt/s.
>>You should See a Brass Insert for the Bar Oiler Orifice.
>>Send me the UT Numbers Off the Saw, Please. With these I can Locate the Proper Manual and Better Assist you.
>>If Both the Manual and Auto Oiler went Out at the Same Time, then there May be a Restricted Oiler Orfice or a Broken Oiler Line to the Bar Oil Orfice.
>>Please, Do Not Hesitate, If you Hit a Snag, if I Missed Something or this Does Not Correct the Problem, I am Here if You Require More Assistance. Hope this Helps. Let me Know What Happens, Please. May the All Mighty Bless You and Yours. Thanks.

Good Luck
