Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): replacing transmission belt, briggs and stratton, center bolt

Question
I'm trying to replace the drive belt on a briggs and stratton ride mower (model
#760-779) with a 42" deck and am having difficulty. Specifically, I am unable to
get the belt onto the pulley located just beneath the engine. Can you suggest
the easiest way to go about this. Maybe a diagram along with a description
would be helpful. Thank you

Answer
Hello Gary:

>>Most Times the Belt has to be Installed on the Engine Pulley First. The Pulley Sometimes has to be Lowered from the Engine by Removing the Center Bolt from the Pulley and Sliding the Engine Pulley Down enough for the Belt to be Installed.
