Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): HS 70 snowblower, arinet, american honda

Question
Can you give me the correct procedure for adjusting the belts on a HS70 snowblower I am having trouble with the belts jumping off . I have checked pulley alignment and it is correct

Answer
Hello Dan:

>>You can View a Breakdown/IPL of the Mower/Engine at this Site Addy, http://hayward.arinet.com/scripts/EmpartISAPI.dll?MF&app=ASP&lang=EN&TF=Mainfram... and Select the Catalog American Honda. Select the Snow Blower File. Now Scroll to your Model and Select it. Now you can View the Unit in Breakdown Form.
>>Usually if a Belt is Loose and the Belt Guards are in Place a Belt will Slip, Not Jump Off the Pulleys.
>>Make Sure the Pulleys are Good and Not Bent or are Sloppy and Not Running at a Correct Angle when Tension is Placed on them by the Belt.
>>To my Knowledge and After Viewing the Breakdown; I see No Belt Adjustment. When the Belt is Stretched to a Point that it Slips, it is Supposed to be Replaced.
>>Please, Do Not Hesitate, If you Hit a Snag, if I Missed Something or this Does Not Correct the Problem, I am Here if You Require More Assistance. Hope this Helps. Let me Know What Happens, Please. May the All Mighty Bless You and Yours. Thanks.

Good Luck
