Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Wizard Snowblower drive belts shredded, replacement belts, drive belts

Question
I have a 2001 Wizard 27" snowblower model #627804X10A with an 8 HP Tecumseh motor. The two drive belts shredded and I need to replace them but cannot find what the replacement belts would be. I cannot find the owners manual anymore and the dealer is long since closed up and retired. Do you know what belts would be used for replacement?

Answer
Hello Tim:

This is a Murray Unit. The Belt Part Numbers are B&S/Murray 579932MA (3/8" X 33") and B&S/Murray 585416MA (1/2 X 38"). You can Purchase these Belts from your Local Small Engine Service Center or you can use Industrial Grade Belts Purchased from you Local Automotive Parts Retailer. If you Hit a Snag or this Does Not Correct the Problem,  I am Here if You Require More Assistance. Hope this Helps. Let me Know What Happens, Please. Have a Happy Holiday Season and May the All Mighty Bless You and Yours. Be Safe and Happy. Thanks.

Good Luck
