Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Snowblower issue, trouble shooting guide, craftsman snowblower

Question
I have a Craftsman snowblower(model #247.887900) with a 9hp tecumseh (model LH318SA/LH358SA).  For whatever reason, when I transport this blower in a trailer for use else where, I cannot get it started for at least 12+ hours.  After it sits for a day it starts up fine.  It does not have a fuel shut off so I don't know if the bouncing is flooding it out but I would thing it would eventually start.  I'm clueless as to what would be causing this.  It has happened all 4 times I've trailered this blower.  Any ideas?

Hello Brent:

To View a Breakdown of this Unit Go to this Site Addy, http://www.searspartsdirect.com/partsdirect/index.action?sid=PSHx20080114x00001 and Enter the Model Numbers 247.887900 and Click Search. From this Page you can View Diagrams and Parts Lists for you Equipment Using the "View Sub Components" Section Near the Bottom Left. You can View a Breakdown/IPL of this Engine at this Site Addy, http://www.outdoordistributors.com/ and Select the T. Then Select Tecumseh. Then Select Don't have Part Numbers. Then Enter the Model Numbers LH318SA. Then Select your Model and Download the File for Online Viewing. I Looked at the Breakdown for this Engine and the Only Reason for Not Starting as you Described would be the Engine is Flooding Due to the Bouncing and Jarring During Transportation. I Suggest you Install a Shut Off Valve and Always Turn Off the Gas Flow to the Carburetor whenever the Unit is Not being Used. Since this is a Tecumseh Engine, I have a PDF Site Addy that May Assist you Also. http://www.tecumsehpower.com/CustomerService/BSI.pdf  .  This Site Addy; http://www.outdoordistributors.com/Tecumseh/tmain.html has a Link to a PDF Trouble-Shooting Guide. Simply Select the Free PDF Download for the Tecumseh Trouble-Shooting Guide. If you Hit a Snag or this Does Not Correct the Problem,  I am Here if You Require More Assistance. Hope this Helps.
