Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Ariens snowblower 9 hp 2 years old, crankcase oil, proper manuals

I attempted to use my snowblower for a second time today and it started fine, it seemed to race and then stalled. I was now unable to pull the cord at all and the electric start only made a humming sound. Could the oil have froze up inside the motor and just needs thawing and changing?

Is the Crankcase Oil Over Filled? Does the Crankcase Oil Smell of Gas? What Weight Oil are you Using in this Unit? SAE 30 or SAE 15-30? Send me the Model Numbers Off the Unit and Off the Engine, Please. With these I can Locate the Proper Manuals and Better Assist you. Thanks.
