Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): HONDA GX 160, honda gx 160, arinet

Question
JUST PURCHASED A GX 160 5.5 USED FOR A GO KART, MOTOR RUNS GREAT OTHER THAN WHEN I TURN RIGHT, ENGINE STALLS, I CHECKED THE FUEL TANK FOR RESTRICTIONS, FOUND NONE,THEN CLEANED CARB, STILL HAVE SAME PROBLEM,DO YOU THINK IT MIGHT BE THE FLOAT, THE DRIVE CHAIN IS ON THE LEFT SIDE

Answer
Hello Mike:

You can View a Breakdown/IPL of the Mower/Engine at this Site Addy, http://hayward.arinet.com/scripts/EmpartISAPI.dll?MF&app=ASP&lang=EN&TF=Mainfram... and Select the Catalog American Honda. Go Cart Tanks Usually have a Foam Insert Inside the Gas Tank to Slow the Gas from Shifting Away from the Tank Outlet During Turns. There are 2 Possible Causes for this Problem. 1- the Tank Requires Foam to Prevent the Gas from Leaving the Tank Outlet During Turns. 2- the Float Level is Set Improperly and Requires Resetting. When you Make a Right Turn, Does the Direction of the Turn cause the Gas to be Thrown Away from the Tank Outlet Port? If you Hit a Snag or this Does Not Correct the Problem,  I am Here if You Require More Assistance. Hope this Helps. Let me Know What Happens, Please. Have a Happy Holiday Season and May the All Mighty Bless You and Yours. Be Safe and Happy. Thanks.

Good Luck
