Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): replacement engine for a kubota lawn tractor tg-1860-G, kubota lawn tractor, kawasaki engine

I need a engine for my kubota TG-1860G. It has a fd (or WG)-590-v, a508
spec,

engine in it. If you dont have this in stock what can you recommend? Or... is
there a short block for it? This is a kawasaki engine... but I dont care what
replaces it... as long as it is a 18+ hp and fits in the tractor...
The kubota dealer said he cant find out why it is leaking coolant antifreeze
after they replaced the water pump and head bolts. They recommended a new
engine... Can you help me?

Only way I can help you out is to recommend you find another repair shop. Any dealer that can't figure out where a water leak is coming from is a moron in my book. Sometimes it's not easy, but it is far from impossible. How can someone recommend a new engine when they have failed to isolate the problem with the old one to know if it's more cost effective to buy a new engine? In 25+ years of servicing small engines, and auto engines I have never been unable to determine where a water leak is originating from. Bring it to another shop that knows what they are doing...........Tom
