Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Small engine(Carbeurator/Fuel problem, fuel outlet, weed trimmer

I have a Craftsman 5.0HP/22 " Weed Trimmer that has fuel pouring out the carburetor. I don't have a manual for the equipment so I don't know where to start. I have taken the carb off and cleaned it so far but don.t know if there is something I need to look for before re-assembly. How do I Fix It.

your needle valve is not seating..  Drain fuel tank.  clean and back flush the fuel outlet.  Flush line.  remove the carburetor and take it apart.  purchase carb rebuild kit from dealer along with new mounting gaskets.  Use a wire from a wire tie to clean all air and fuel passages blow out with carb cleaner or compressed air.  assemble using the kit. put back on engine and attach fuel line throttle and choke cables.  fill with fresh fuel and it should be ok.
