Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): attaching a snowblower, charlotte north carolina, snow thrower

A friend got a used Huskee (Husky) garden tractor model #46370X60B, serial #150308 with snowblower model #24579 and serial #520042 we can not get the blower to hook-up to the tractor do you know where we can find a instruction manual for thi9s tractor & blower?

The USA corporate headquarters are in Charlotte North Carolina.  They have a fairly decent website and you should be able to go in and search for an owner's manual for the tractor and the snow thrower.  Otherwise I would suggest contacting a husky dealer and with your numbers they should be able to order you the manual.  If this is not working I will need more information on the attachment and lift mechanism.  In most cases the cutting deck is removed and the linkage attaches to the snow thrower frame.  The handle that is used to raise and lower the cutting deck is used to raise and lower the snow thrower.  The belt that operates the snow thrower is different than the belt that operates the cutting.  A belt should have come with the snow thrower and will go from the PTO clutch to the input pulley on the snow thrower.  The best way to start is to assemble the entire snow thrower and slide it under the tractor.  The rear of the frame will attach underneath the tractor where the cutting housing attached in the rear you should be able to manually pick up the snow thrower and frame once it is attached to the tractor.  Then attach the lift mechanism.  I hope this information is help you if not please contact us for more information.
