Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Chainsaw wont start, compression gauge, fuel compression

Question
QUESTION: I have a McCulloch 3200 Mac series chainsaw, model # 600032-83. The unit was given to me stating that it just needed new gas lines but the saw will start. I have tried starting this saw and have yet to get it started. I have put in new gas, along with a new spark plug and nothing. It is getting spark. When I just start to tug on the pull cord, it sounds like gas is getting dumped into the carb and is flooding the engine out. I am at a loss as to what to look for or what to do next. I can't even find a manual for this model.

ANSWER: If the gas lines are bad then odds are the carb needs overhauled since the gaskets are made of similar material.

If you use a small container with gas/oil mix in it and squirt a few drop of gas/oil mix into the carb will the engine start?
Do you have a compression gauge?
Let me know.

QUESTION: nothing happens when I squirt some in to the carb, I've even tried ether. compression is fine

Answer
How do you know compression is fine?  If it refuses to start with ether then there is too much fuel (flooded), no ignition, bad spark plug, low compression or possibly a plugged muffler.

New spark plug...check

Ignition...check

This leaves fuel, compression or plugged muffler.

Ether...check

Now just have compression or muffler.

Let me know how many PSI of compression the engine has.
