Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): john deer L110, proper manuals, input shaft

Question
Hi John, I have a jd L110 hydro, I loaded it in my truck and everything worked fine! When I unloaded it everything was fine about 5 minutes into mowing it quit moving! If you jack up the back wheels they will turn, but if you put any resistance to the wheels they quit!! Any suggestions??? thanks Dean!!

Answer
Hello Dean:

With the Transaxle Wheels Off the Ground; Watch the Input Shaft Pulley. When you Stop the Wheels, does the Input Pulley Still Turn? If No, then Check the Belt and Idler Pulleys. Make Sure the Spring for the Idler Arm is Attached and Operating Properly. If Yes, then Check the Linkage for the Bypass is Not Binding and the Bypass Valve is Closing Completely. If All the Linkage is Working Correctly, then the Unit May be Low on Fluid. On the Transaxle is an OEM Identification Plate. Send me the Information Off of This Plate, Please. With this Information, I can Locate the Proper Manuals and Better Assist You. Thanks.
