Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Snapper model# LT180H48DBV2, turning the key, safety system

Question
The above model mower will not start.  I have changed the solenoid and the battery.  Any suggestions where to look now.
It does nothing.
Yesterday before purchasing a new solenoid I put a jumper on the solenoid and the engine did turn, so thinking that was the problem I changed that part.  When turning the key there is still nothing.

I think that you have an issue in your safety system.  Check first the seat switch then check the PTOs switch and the break/clutch switch if these came out of adjustment your engine would not start.  It is very important that your battery is charged to 12.6 V.  When you jump across the solenoid and everything works fine your bypassing entire safety system.  I hope this information helps you out.
