Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): tecumseh 8hp snowblower engine, thin piece, screw

engine will run as long as I keep priming it otherwise it quits.I get gas when I lossen the drain pin.

On the bottom of the carb, there is a bowl with a screw in the bottom of it. Thhis screw is large and right in the center of the bowl. Remove the screw, and take the bowl off. Make sure the float inside can move freely. Take a thin piece of wire and slide it in and out of the holes that are in the large screw. Put the carb back together, and prime it. The engine may take a few pulls to start, but once fuel gets to the carb again, the engine should run normally.
