Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Mcculloch bar oiler 14 eager beaver, eager beaver, air bubbles

Question
had a split in the tube from the oil tank to the oiler--cut and refit the tube back on, but it doesn't pump oil to the chain. Is there some kind of vapor lock?
Thanks, Gary This is on the 14" Eager Beaver.

Answer
Hello Gary:

I had a Questioner have the Almost the Same Problem jsut a Few Days ago. The Oiler May Require Priming. Remove the Oiler and Place in a Container that will Just Cover the Oiler. Then Turn the Oiler Drive Until the Air Bubbles Stop and Oil is Moving through the Oiler. Now Install the Oiler. If the Oiler Does Not Pump now, then the Oiler May Require Replacing. Please, Do Not Hesitate, If you Hit a Snag or this Does Not Correct the Problem, I am Here if You Require More Assistance. Hope this Helps. Let me Know What Happens, Please. May the All Mighty Bless You and Yours. Thanks.

Good Luck
