Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): zero turn mower shuts off, control levers, home position

Question
Snapper 250Z
model - RZT20420BVE2
mower turns on with no problems, when I move the motion control levers from their home position to try to move the lawn mower forward or reverse, the engine shuts off.  This happens even before I can get it in gear.  it shuts off as soon as either lever is moved  from their home location.
Appreciate any assistance.

Answer
Hydraulic system on your unit cannot be engaged with the parking brake I the engine will die as soon as you move the motion control levers.  The first thing to check would be to switch to be sure it is operating properly.  If this is not it please contact us.
