Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): replacement battery, battery

Question
I received a replacment battery p/n 123899x for my Husqvarna mower it doesn't have any fluid in the battery.
Do I have to add acid to the battery for it to charge?

Answer
Hello Hugo,

First off I would contact the shop where I purchased the battery to ask them.  Batteries generally are filled with water, that then becomes acidic through the battery process.
It is best to use only distilled water, and you should fill the battery chambers only to the top of the plates.

Over filling can cause the electrolyte to be too weak. This can result in your battery not working efficiently.

Good luck,

Howard
