Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): roto-tiller engine parts, rear tine tiller, tecumseh engine

my dad bought a rear,tine tiller 25yrs ago 5hp,model tmo-39096a the top of,the spark wire has split,on one side can i replace it?

Some Coils have a Non Replaceable Lead, so the Coil has to be Replaced. Most Small Engine Service Centers have or can Order a Replacement Coil or Coil Lead for this Engine. There should be some Numbers before the Service Numbers. Example: TMO??-390961. Send me these Numbers, Please. With these I can Locate the Proper Manual and Better Assist you.
