Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Stihl Weedeater, weedeater, driveshaft

Question
After using the weedeater for about half an hour I stopped to rest. The Pull cord seems to be jammed and doesn't come out. Any Suggestions?

First remove the starter assembly be sure that it operates freely.  Next remove the spark plug and see if the flywheel will turned by hand.  If it doesn't you have internal engine problems ceased piston or broken rod.  The best way to fix something like this is put in a short block.  If it is not any of these I would check the clutch and the driveshaft going to the cutting head.
