Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): lawn mower, starter fluid, twist tie

My lawn mower was runin fine I pulled the head and cleaned  it then put it back together. Now it wont run unless I spray starter fluid in the carb. Then it only runs until the fluid is gone. It is not getting gas what should i do?

More than likely when you took the engine one way or another a piece of debris in the carburetor got into a fuel passage.  Remove the carburetor disassemble clean all air and fuel passages with a wire from a twist tie blow them out with carburetor cleaner or compressed air reassemble using new carburetor kit and mount using new gaskets.
