Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Piping noise on Kawasaki 23hp, kawasaki engine, spec numbers

I have a 23 Kawasaki engine, it makes a flipping noise when first start up. The noise seems to quieten when engine get warm. What do you think it could be?

Can you Better Describe the Noise, Please. I have Never Heard this Description to Describe a Noise a Small Engine Makes. Is it a Popping Noise, through the Intake or Exhaust or Ect? Send me the Model and Type or Spec Numbers Off the Engine, Please. With these I can Locate the Proper Manual and Better Assist you. Thanks.
