Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Murray 30577x8A Motion Drive Belt Replacement, center bolt, drive shaft

Question
Hello,

I am trying to replace the motion drive belt on my 1999 Murray Rear Engine Rider Mower Model #30577x8A. I can't figure out how to get the drive belt around the stack pulley assembly (drive shaft pulley).  It appears that I will need to un-bolt the engine from the frame to allow clearance between the drive shaft and engine in order to slide the drive belt over the drive shaft.  Is this correct, or is there an easier way?

Answer
Hello Eric:

Usually you have to Remove the Center Bolt from the Stack Pulley and Slide it Down from the Engine Enough for the Belt/s to be Removed and Replaced. You can View a Breakdown of this Unit at this Site Addy; http://www.partsandservice.com/ and Select the Illustrated Parts Catalogues Under the Online Parts Store Section. Now Using the "Select a Product Line, Product Catagory, Model and Page" Section. Look Up your Unit. Select the Wiring File and you will be Able to View the Electrical Schematic Online. If you Hit a Snag or this Does Not Correct the Problem,  I am Here if You Require More Assistance. Hope this Helps. Let me Know What Happens, Please. May the All Mighty Bless You and Yours. Thanks.

Good Luck
