Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Engine size on snow blower, outdated unit, hp engine


Question
I picked up an old sears snow blower or thrower. The engine is a techumsa.The blower is a sears. The model on the blower and engine are about gone. The best I can see on the blower is 536 918300 and the stamped nos on the engine is 143 696 102 I would like to know what size the engine is? Thanks Steve

From this Page you can View Diagrams and Parts Lists for you Equipment Using the "View Sub Components" Section Near the Bottom Left. You can View a Breakdown/IPL of this Engine at this Site Addy, http://www.outdoordistributors.com/ and Select the T. Then Select Tecumseh. Then Select Don't have Part Numbers. Then Enter the Model Numbers (143.696102). Then Select your Model and Download the File for Online Viewing. At this Site you will See from the Breakdown that this is an H70-130205E Model Tecumseh Engine. H70 is a 7 HP Engine. This is an Outdated Unit and Sears No Longer Offer Most of the Parts for the Unit Itself. You can Still Purchase Engine Parts from Most Small Engine Service Centers and the Unit Parts can be Locate if you wish to Search the Sites that Offer Antique /Older Parts. You can Use the Site Addys at this Site Addy; http://www.yetmans.mb.ca/antiques.html to Locate Used Parts for this Unit.
