Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Craftsman 917.378420 lawn mower carburetor toast, how to fix or replace?, craftsman 917, question pool

Question
I have a craftsman 917.378420 lawn mower that was acting up.  It would run fine and then completely die.  Letting it sit for a few minutes then pumping the fuel primer and cranking again would usually do the trick a few times to make it through the mow.  Last time I mowed it did this but wouldn't start up again, at all.  I took the air filter and carb apart and cleaned them, eventually finding some debris in the metal fuel input on the carb.  Thinking it was something to get out easily, i put a nail down the input and dislodged the debris.  Unfortunately it wouldn't come back out the other way.  I hooked the air compressor up to it and tried to blow it out but it seems to have only lodged it all the way in, maybe into the jet.

So... any way to repair this or do I just replace the carb?  I have yet to find any place selling a carb for this thing though!

Thank you!!
