Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Toro 20017 Lawnmower Groundwire Location, question pool, electrical wire

Question
Lawnmower: Toro 20017
Engine Tecumseh Model # LV195EA-362003C
Engine Family: 5TPXS.1951BC

I have an easy question for a pro like you (I hope).  I had to troubleshoot my lawnmower not shutting off after the brake handle has been released and I am pretty sure I have it figured out.  I have the flywheel off and the culprit was the S.E. Brake bracket (Toro Part # 36559A).  It was all bent and not working properly.  I am going to replace it.

My question is there is only 1 electrical wire on the entire mower and it is green.  It is Toro Part # 37047 and its description is 'Wire-Ground'.  It has clips on either end to slide onto connectirs.  The 1 end was securely fastened to the Ignition (no problem).  The other end is the problem.  I have no idea where it connects to.  It was laying on the block under the flywheel when I removed the flywheel.  Nither the Toro parts diagram or the '3-11HP L-Head Tecumseh Engine Repair' guide had any information that I could see on where the other end of this wire connects.  I would think it connects somewhere on the brake bracket, so when the brake is released the ignition cuts off.  I have looked everywhere on that mower, and I can not find a tab where the other end of that wire should connect.

Can you please tell me where the other end of this ignition green ground wire connects?

Thanks!!

Answer
Hello Allen:

Sorry for the Delay. This Question was Located in the Question Pool and I can Only Answer Questions from the Question Pool when I am Not Answering Questions here or at the Other Site I Answer Questions at. This Wire Attaches to the Blade Stop Switch that is Located on the Engine Brake Bracket. It has a Metal Ear that is Pushed and the Stripped End of the Wire Slides Through and Locks when you Release the Metal Ear. In the Breakdown the Shutoff Switch is #195 and is Listed as, "Terminal". When you Hold the Engine Brake/Shutoff Lever at the Handle and then Slowly Release it, you should See the Engine Brake Move towards the Terminal and Connect when it Grounds the Coil/Magneto/Solid State Ign Coil. If you Hit a Snag or this Does Not Correct the Problem,  I am Here if You Require More Assistance. Hope this Helps. Let me Know What Happens, Please. May the All Mighty Bless You and Yours. Thanks.

Good Luck
