Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): parts, briggs and stratton, briggs stratton

I need an ignition coil for Briggs and Stratton engine model #81302 engine type 5546.  this engine is probably  pre 1965 and is on a Toro Power Handle Reel walk behind mower.  Help in locating this part please.....Thank you

Finding obsolete engine parts can be very difficult.  There are a couple of ways you could go.  First would be a search of craigslist and Google and eBay to see who advertises they have obsolete parts.  I would then send that dealer and e-mail telling him what you would like.

The other way would be to check with after market parts makers like Silver Streak or Stens.   If you haven't already contacted Briggs & Stratton through their website and ask if they would have the obsolete part work would suggest another way of finding it.  Best of luck on your search.
