Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): no model # on toro, throttle control, engine model

i need the magneto on my toro because i get no spark . i have turned this mower upside down left and right ; no plate only pat #s .all i know is it is a 4cyle engine late 80s.took part to dealer need model #.p

Depending on the model.  It could be on the handlebar on the back of the panel where the throttle control is.  As far as the engine model and serial it would be stamped into the blower housing.  The blower housing is the metal part that covers the flywheel.  It is typically stamped into the side of the housing.  If you cannot find it grow to www.toro.com they have a drawing that tells you all the different places they put their numbers otherwise take the blower housing to the dealership with you.  They may be able to identify for you.  Hope this helps.
