Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): lawn mower belt adjustment, self propelled lawn mower, clutch lever

Question
I have a Honda HRR 216 self propelled lawn-mower. The belt came off the pulley again and again. I suceed to hang the belt back on the drive and engine pulley. Somehow the belt lacks of tension and that seems to be the cause of the problem. I also notice that the drive clutch lever has loose tension. Please explain the origin of the problem and how to fix it. Thank you

Answer
Seems those HRP's have a common problem when that belt slips off. After it slips it leaves no tension on the rest of the drive, and the spring and clip always falls to the ground and is lost in the grass...Go to this link I have placed here for you. Follow the directions on entering your model number, and such. It will give you a complete power drive blow-up you can then identify if all your parts are intact. If not you can also order them right from there too...Funny enough it happened to my dad 2 weeks ago too, he went in the yard with his hobby metal detector, and found one of the two pieces...Tom
Guess it's due to the fact your not bright enough to follow simple directions, if you had it would have brought you right to that portion of the diagrams as it did for me when I rechecked it, it's not my fault your ot able to negotiate a website, I just gave you the link, ask a friend next time to hold your hand and take you through the process............
