Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): ltiller wont stay cranked, front tine tiller, honda lawn

Question
I've got a front-tine tiller powered by a Honda engine.  It will crank but dies as soon as the fuel is used out of the carburetor.  I can prime it while it is cranked and it will run but as soon as I quit, it dies.  It obviously isn't pulling the fuel through the carburetor unless peimed.  I've changed the airfilter and plug.  Now what?

Answer
Jack,

Its time to have the carb rebuilt Normally what happens is over time and use the seals in the carb wear out and your intakes on the fuel tank get clogged with silt and need an old fashioned cleaning and or replacement.
with honda Engines there is never an easy way to fix them except by a professional Honda Lawn and Garder Shop.
