Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Kawasaki fg-300, problem wit, mikuni carb

I have just acquired 68" National triplex with a Kawasaki fg-300-00 and i have a problem wit a surging mikuni carb on it.  I prefer to cut at a slower speed as to reduce bouncing on the wing cutters, but it seems to surge, and i can't seem to tune it to get rid of it. And to add to it, I haven't been able to find any info on the Fg-300 including HP or any more information.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Unfortunatly your FG300 00 Is a Modified system so there wont be any Specs for you to use and Mikuni Carbs are  engine specific I would say to tell you to go thru the Mikuni MFG to get a better Idea of what your looking to do.
